Facedown Records alumni Fallstar are back! The band just dropped a surprise single "SSRI Feel Better Already" and you can hear it everywhere you stream music. Vocalist Chris Ratzlaf talks about the meaning behind the lyrics: This song is about humanity's will to live despite hopeless circumstances, and how those of us who struggle with depression lose that will. From indigenous people during their colonization, to kids born today into a world suffering irreparable climate change, there is a resilience in humanity to continue and press on. The song muses at this phenomena, while contrasting with my own crippling depression, and how SSRI medicine gave me back that will and drive to keep living. The new single is part of an upcoming album "Sunbreather," out February 2021. Back in 2013, Fallstar released their label debut “Backdraft,” and have come back to Facedown to release their 2021 album “Sunbreather.”
