Ten Years Running Blind is Swedish rock band Blindside's first ever DVD project. Included are two full-length concerts, a photo gallery, music videos, and a documentary. While the features all sound especially good, the DVD is not without its share of glaring problems. There are a couple technical errors and inconvinences within. For instance, the volume is at different levels depending on what page you are. The second full length concert didn't have a song selection screen, at times things take too long to load, and the live show sound wasn't always perfect, not to mention the picture. The overall quality is merely "ok."
The content, though, is very good. I still wanted more but, as a first DVD, it's not bad. The band shows a lot of old footage that big Blindside fans should love. A lot of songs you might not have heard live will appear on this DVD too, including, "My Mother's Only Son," "You Can Hide it," "Time Will Change your Heart," and more. The thing that I love about this DVD is the footage of Blindside when they aren't performing. It's quite funny and there are an additional three easter eggs with even more funny footage.
Whether or not you should get this DVD depends on how big of a Blindside fan you are. If you own more than two of their albums than that probably quailfies you as a big enough fan to enjoy this DVD. However, if you only like a couple of songs and aren't interested in who they are on a more person level, then you should just stick with their CDs.
